I had a 2" lei and a 6" black- even at that size the lei was already bothering the black, but it was so small it was just a pest, but once the lei hit 8" and the black hit 12", the lei started damaging the black- I had a shoal of 4 chalceus in with them as dithers, they had taken some of the abuse up to that point, but once the lei started becoming an adult I had to split them up-
the other thing is when your lei is 6", your banjar is probably going to be bigger than 8" or 9", it could be closer to 12" with a way deeper body, and thats going to be a problem for the lei- a 6" lei doesnt stand a chance against a 12" 1.5, but as you already know, your best bet is to introduce them all at once, and Im not sure how youre going to pull that trick off-
Ive got a 4" lei that I hope at some point will go in with my 18"and 19" blacks and my other 12" aro, but the 3 of them are already together- good luck
