^ No. Banjar red = yellow tail. Both the same thing. It's just a fancier name for half green half red arowana. I used to have a banjar and it had red fins with pinkish body.

Nice young red, No Sh-t who cares if it is in Alaska the guy is showing and not trying to sell it. Jardini what? here is what I dont get most of the US members all you ever talk about is the legality of the Asains but you guys are always the first to comment on them about the grades and stuff. There was a guy asked about a rtg and everyone of you know it alls chimed in telling him its banjar or green I saw the pic and then Koji posted the rtg he was adding to his stock and all of you jumped on his nut sack congratulating him because he works for pang long farm but the 2 pic were kinda simular you cant tell crap when they are young like that and from a crappy picture. I think you guys should be more worried about the dumba$$ that want to get snakeheads because before long they eat you out of pocket and then you dump them in a lake and they just invade cause they are inexpensive you would never see anyone dump a sr,xb,rtg.

+11111 thanks bro I had to make a new name and change my location ,like the first thing they notice is if it's illegal in my area!! Like who cares !!!damn wanna be fish cops ! Enjoy the beauty of the fish. This arowana isn't even my fish ,it's in a PUBLIC restaurant in the U.S and just wanted to share it cause this is the first time
I've seen one in real life!might I say I can stare at it all day!and I agree with you too ! They should worry about the people selling snakeheads and releasing them !

Very nice red. Never had a purebred red like that.. only HBRTG and banjar lol... one day one day..

That one's a beauty. I've only ever seen one silver arow in a tank at a Chinese buffet, it was only 10 inches or so at the time.

After starring at that I myself would find it hard to look at Banjar but that is because where im from that is where the reds originated and I see the best the Banjar was mistake but farmers knew that they could sell them for just a little more than a green so they produce so people in Asia can afford them. Thats the price you pay for beauty. Banjar still nice fish cause have the Asian aro traits but not color. Here in Indo we have aro show and people from all over my country come to show they're fish it's a big deal to win the show lots of farmers bring they're top fish to show because lots of buyers come from all over Asia to see which farm they want to buy from to put in they're stores. It's like Japan and the koi shows they have if you had the grand champ your stock would rise very high.
