Very much south..
Guys, a couple of us in Portugal are getting ready to do an import from Indonesia...a couple of asian aro's in the list..now I've had Red tailed goldens before, but I never had any of the ones contained in the list.
Green Aro- it is the cheapest one..never saw any live..how is it?

Banjar Red- The first time I heard mention of this type..anyone familiar with? Your asistance would be greatly appreciated since the import will kick off tomorrow..thanks

Miguel

and what would 1.5 be, Boydo?

Grade 1.5 or 2 looks more like a yellow tail, they are orange or pink rather that red, and the color are not as intense as a super red or grade 1. The grade 2 will have pink or yellow gill plates and head, with orange fins. I thought I had a picture, but can't seem to find right now, I'll post it if I do. They are beautifull fish like all arowana's, but don't expect it to look like a super red( blood or chilli). Hope this helps explain.

it does, thank you Boydo..so it is not a super grade red aro... is it worth the price of 3 greens in your opinion?

like Miguel iam one of the the guys after that import, what are teh averege cost of a green in Japan and banjar reds

i wouldnt spend money on a banjar... just like green its just nothing compared to a RTg or SR. They are cheap too, greens like 200 euro and banjar 400.

At 3-4 inches Greens range from about 100 USD to almost 200 USD. Ive seen Banjars at about a 8-10 inches for about 200-250 USD in japan.

as a price comparison to £'s greens go for around £100 here and banjars for around £225.
not worth the difference in price imo.
also RTG's go for £350-£375 depending on size here, have you contacted frank aka Itatuiba as he had some RTG from HPlow and would be a lot cheaper and may be able to ship airport to airport if he has some left.

heres a link to arowanas.UK it has pics of what you talking about.
