Banjo Catfish breeding project

They are one of my all time favorites. So I setup a spare 20 Long aquarium for 4 Bunocelphalus Coracoideus to see if I can get them to spawn.

Well decided to use leaf litter with dried leaves I collected from my backyard and Metro park most are varied Oak tree species. Noticed some tannins and the Banjo and Rams seem to enjoy it so far. I will eventually be adding more wood. Went to LFS and all the wood in their aquariums had snails in them. Tested the KH so good for Tetra. Have to order a GH kit in the future.

I see one once in awhile but wanted them to do what is natural to them. I always spot a tail fin or head with those tiny eyes lol.

kno4te did you recognize the little stump. Decided to lay it long way was like most suggested and I'm liking the look. I will remove the rocks soon should be water logged.
