Baracudda help!!

apparently my 1 ft barracuda swallowed one of the clams someone in my family dropped in my aqaurium for my puffers and triggers.

will this kill him or will his stomach acids break it down

if he isn't choking on it he should be fine but would keep a close eye on him. watch his swimming pattern and his mouth for irregular gulping like he is short of breath or struggling to swallow.

you may want to feed him some smaller food item's for the next day or 2 to play it safe

the lfs had one here in town for a couple weeks. he was about a foot long. Someone actually bought him. Find it hard to believe you could house one right unless you have a HUGE tank
