damn, i think it is the oscar, he is the only one i have seen go near the aro, i will take him out tomoz and see how i go.

i have noticed this evening that part of his tail at the back end is missing now, my smallest oscar is no leaving the tank to a friends, hopefully nothing else is bothering the aro!!

i would transfer all those cichlids to a different tank, dont risk it by just removing the oscar.

id have to say though those barbels aint gunna grow back, they look torn clean off!
 
Damn! That aro is really being picked on! Yes, I agree that the other fish should be removed so it doesn't end up dead. With those fish in there, it's hard to say who the culprit is. Oh, and the barbels could grow back. You never know, I've seen worse grow back. But it takes awhile.

i am very sad, its not just the cash, he was a beauty! i am not taking the risk again and i dont really want to get rid of my other fish, any one know of any other top swimmers that would work for me?

That sucks....I wouldnt put ANY top fish in there if your aro got picked on to death.
