Hi,
I am the " new kid on the block". I wanted to introduce myself and say Hi.You can call me Barbie. I am from Southern Maine and hoping I can meet someone in my area to share my hobby with and swap fry ect. I am excited to belong to this group as I have a lot to learn about cichlids.."

I have a 150 g Cichlid tank, 2 29g for fry,
a 55g full of angel fish fry.
I "DID" have a 100g full of Angel Fish. A couple days ago my 100 sprung a leak and ruined my wood stand, so now they are all in a 55g and are not very happy. :nilly: A Week ago My pump was disconnected on my 150 and the tank was covered with a drop cloth because we were working on the room. When I took the cloth off I had hundreds of dollars worth of beautiful cichlids floating on the top of the tank. :WHOA: I am hoping someone can point me in the direction of another stand for the tank I am patching or to a complete setup over 100 gal but only 4 foot long.. (hopefully). It is killing me to see my fish stressed out.. :( I am in such a mess, and not much money..Please help.. Barbie ( thanks for the shoulder to cry on )

Hi,nice to meet you. There are a bunch of us from new england area here.Check out our new england buy/sell thread. You might just find a tank, stand or both that you are looking for.

HI,
I will thanks. I feel like I am starting all over again, I am heartbroken. Nobody can understand me being so upset over fish but I am sure you can. I have nothing left to watch.. Not to mention the money. If I don't get the angels into a big tank soon I am going to loose them soon.. Some are a good 6 inches accross, they use a lot of space.
Its good to know there are a lot in New England I have met only one. I bought some angel fry from him. I would like to find a discus breeder too. I have always wanted to try them buy couldn't sfford adults.. BUT first I have to get the ones I have straightened out..:)

Sorry to hear about the problems. Welcome!
