He eats pretty much anything. To be honest he probably doesn't notice. He has usually swallowed it before it's broken the surface of the water.

I feed chunks of fish meat i.e. Trout, Mussel, various inverts like shrimps, crickets and worms. The only item he doesn't like and spits out is the small frozen white fish like whitebait.

yes, its my very own Qtank. it started eating frozen shrimp and had slowly increased its appetite
