bare bottom

i am wanting to keep some motoros in a bare bottom tank do you think they will be ok without sand as i hate substrate in tanks.

Yeah. They should be fine. Many say that it is better to have substrate in time of stress.

thanks i have plenty of wood so they sort of have cover . i will keep a close eye on them .

i always do bare bottom. much easyier to keep clean in highly populated tanks.

found that out by mistake running to much sand in my pond. Water went defunked and kill two rays.
