barking fish

i have been doing some major remodling in my 55 gallon tank
when i was taking out some of my fish
i noticed they were almost barking in a way
my smaller syn. cat was barking at me
and my angelicus was also
i took out my clown loaches and they were kinda growling at me
and today i got a huge syno cat
and it almost sounded like he was gobling like a turkey
along with barking

does anyone know what this is?????
and no im not on any medication

That is really weird..I have never heard of that before. Maybe they are just mad at you? lol.

All sun cats do it it some kind of defence they use in the wild.and talking cats do of too.its common so your not crazy

my TSNs(13"+) also make those noises when one of my RTCs is troubling him and as they are pretty big, sometimes i can hear them 6-7' far from the tank

most of the syno cats makes sound when you take them up from the water, esp if you pet them on their bellys. My striped raphael cat does the same, (but I havent tried to pet it and doubt I dare to try ). bala sharks also makes sounds. My O´s makes chewing sounds when they get pellets. I´m certain that there lots of catfishes that makes sounds to, I´ve read that pictus cats makes sound too but I have never heard it from my cats though.

Both my clown loaches and bala's make very loud clicking sounds and my Raphael has made grunting sounds when I was moving him from one tank to another. My oscars also make that crunching sound when they eat pellets.
