I have 2 of these, in separate tanks. One is twice the size of the other. They are a very skittish fish and frighten easily. Difficult to get on dead fish but mine are. Have to drop food in so that it looks alive otherwise they wont touch it. Once on dead fish mine seem to ignore feeders for a long time, up to a week before they dissapear. My biggest one, 9 inches, is in a 120 gal with 7 silver dollars and 4 senagal bichirs. They all get along fine except he likes to chase the dollars and nip at their pectorial fins.
