But $800 for just fishing them in a pond....thats crazy and really ripoffs...so i dont see much good compromise.

Some with big money mostly from Asia come fishing here $800 for them might be small change.

I am thinking of starting my own small cichlid $200 fishing "guide" set up in my backyard fishing in 120 gallon small cichlid ponds .

10 plus tourist on a weekend and I leave my job lol.

Me too, I was think about set up some 200gal ponds outside then I can have it stocked, full with exotic cichlids, sunfish, goldfish, koi, fallfish, barrmundi, gigas, dyed blood parrots, piranhas and few random fish. I will charge $150 per person and $80 for anybody under 12 years old. Their rooms is in the barn but be careful, some residents might smell funny and noisy.

haha I went fishing in my 55 gal for sunfish once... i built a small fly rod out of 3 feel off the top of my fly rod that got stepped on... was pretty fun... i caught lots... though i think i caught the same fish a few times :P

This place is located in St. Cloud I believe which is a little ways from orlando but not horribly far. It would be fun but not for the cost. Also not all of them are small they do have some big ones in there that they have shown on TV before. It would be a fun experience its just to expensive.

Sorry, not buying it. But I also wouldn' t hunt for eland or wildabeast on a Texas ranch. I'm what most people call a "deep sea guide". People pay a shkkkk load of money to fish with me. Much more the 800 for 4 people. But what they aren't doing is fishing on a fricking pond that I can tee off across. These kind of canned fishing and hunting trips piss me off and spoil the "reel" experiance.

i agree with what are saying it is unsportman like and there is no thrill of the hunt to know no matter what there will be something even on red snapper trips we run into trouble, dolphins, and other predators and occasionaly a giant amoung the few. Again its the fact of risk of failure thats make it more exciting and more real of a experience.
