Barramundi in Phila.Chinatown

ask them whether they are in saltwater...
(yes tilapia can be kept in SW too)

ive doen this before with mixed results.
mostly due to the way they handled the fishes.
the problem is i cant speak chinese(yes...im chinese...).

I saw some gouramy in ther too, what about them?Thanks for the info Channa.
 
They even had a nice looking poster on the wall above the tank depicting a Barramundi dish which made some mention of Australia so I'm guessing that the fish are farm raised then shipped here.

im very sure most barramundi you'll find in asian markets are farmed.

There are also barramundi farms in Thailand, Northeast U.S., and other parts of the world. Thai water can be very bad that's why I said an internal parasite treatment, something not too harsh might not be a bad idea either just in case.

Will do.You'll just have to drive up to the place,park nearby,get in and get out.
