Having caught a few wild Barra i can say most of you are right, 3-4 foot but in the home aquarium it will take a good many years for them to reach full size. I would say a 200lt tank is minimum for a single barra, beautiful fish and great on the plate.

Nice thread. I thought maybe people could chime in again for the second round? With photos this time, please? I currently have a 2'-er in 4500 gal, so I am interested in knowing what to expect.
