I recently got a Boswell 470 gallon pool pond for my basement and I was wondering if I could put a barramundi (Lates Calcalifer) in it. If I can't put it in there then what other big oddball monsters would be good for the pond? thanks.

What are the dimensions of the pool pond? That will determine a lot more than the volume.

Personally I don't think that's going to be enough for a barramundi. They get up to 200 cm long (https://www.fish.wa.gov.au/Species/Barramundi/Pages/default.aspx#:~:text=They can grow up to,jaw and rounded tail fin.), which is actually slightly longer than your 195 cm pool.
I will say that these sizes in private aquaria are incredibly rare. However, for the most part, I agree-- still a little too big anyway, usually topping out at 2-4 feet, usually around 3' in captivity. The wild, however, is a different story.
