Barred Midas keep or sell

i guess you're right, i just haven't seen an unbarred midas before.

Unbarred midas? do you mean an unbarred barred midas?

Neither have I.

I have barred and regular midas, and there are distinct differences. I don't care who the fish came from, pics speak a thousand words.

Looks like a juvi Red Isletas in the vidio. The pics on page one do make it look more like a FH, it resembles a Trimac/Midas cross in those pics. Although I've had barred A. Citrinellus with alot of red around the operculum like yours, It could be Islatas. Did you see the parents?
 
Based on the video, it could be a female barred. Males do not get red coloration.
 
One of its parents was probably a hybrid imo.
 
I have san juan barred midas, and my female looks like that, but her chest is a bit brighter, and she stripes are jet black.
