Im getting some small retic rays in a few days and need a little quick run on the QT tank I should have set up incase they come in with lice and what I should expect to go threw trying to get them to eat ect..... I have never removed lice before and really know nothing about that so im hopeful that they are clean but if they aren't what will I have to go threw when removing the lice and how long will they need to be kept quarentined after I remove the lice

i've never had to deal with lice, so i can't help you there.
if they come in really small (2.5 - 3 inch discs) get them feeding on black worms as alot of foods will be too large for them to eat. you could also cut up other larger worms into bitesize pieces.
if they are larger, try foods and see what they will take. tilapia, silversides, earthworms, market shrimp, pellets.. who knows, you might get lucky and have them eat some of everything. they generally are very fussy though and take forever to wean onto other foods than worms. mine still won't touch anything but earthworms.

they came in yesterday in better health than i had planned on. i can only see the hips on one and he is just bearly showing them.. i set them up in the qt tank and after a few hours i dropped a little chunk of bloodworms in there. within 15 min 2 of them had eaten. i decided im going to wait a week before i start treating them for internal parasites. ill power feed them threw this week and if they gain weight ill be assuming they will be alright, if they are eating great and losing weight ill start the medication
yeah, i was gonna say, don't bother treating them for internals unless you know they have them. if they don't have parasites, then you're just adding excess stress that they don't need while acclimatizing to a brand new tank.
