my local shop just said common basilisks get bigger than green basilisks is this true or false and do striped and brown basilisks stay the same size as green basilisks?

Basiliscus basiliscus is the largest of the basiliscus family, If i recall correctly they can reach up to 3ft or so snout to tail tip.

Vitatus is smaller, browns are sligthly longer then greens but in therms of bulk, pretty much the same
