my cat fish used to eat the same plus hotdogs, no ishues all grew great and live happily. obiously just not everyday thing. pellets and frozen do best. mainly frozen.

i think the reason they use beef heart is low or no fat where as steak is more of a high fat meat even trimmed but your fish your rules haha

I feed my bass mostly pellets and frozen silversides, tilapia and salmon. Every once in a while i will cut a piece of raw chicken or steak before i throw it on the grill and they CRUSH it. This is obviously a once in a while treat but I have not had any issues with it at all.

Yes it was cooked and I'm not wanting to use it as a staple I'm just using it as a stepping stone ive tried tilapia filets and he won't eat that one tried shrimp nothing so I figured if I can get him to eat something until I can get him to take pellets or at least fish filets then that would be good I just don't want him to starve to death
