Bass grow out

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
the experts may chime in, my orino’s tails look like your guys tail - but the face is different... probably some sort of genetic slurry...

GL!

Looks to be, as stated above, a bit of a farmed mix. I believe the prominent species it would fall under is C. Kelberi

I’m thinking a mix too. Def has the face of an azul in my opinion
Id actually disagree there, I think you're thinking azul because of the blue hues. But Orinos and Kelberi get blue hues as well. If you look at the snout it has the distinct kelberi upturned lip. That's the clue that made me believe it is a kelberi. That and the incomplete blotch stripes. I think if anything it'll have Mono and/or Ocellaris. Azul/kelberi mixes are not something I've ever even seen. Regardless, it's a beautiful fish. Feed it some color potentiating foods and I bet it'll bloom into a really interesting (good interesting haha) fish. Also, be sure to keep us updated on it!

Hybrid bass looks like a Kelzul, Btw this is the only hybrid that I know of that actually occurs in the wild there are plenty of videos out there some have been shared here I personally don’t have the links. Nice fish very
Colorful ElTofi ElTofi looks to have a Kelzul hybrid if you look through his thread he has really good videos of his fish.

It looks to be a Azul to me based on the markings on head and coloration at this stage . Plus the markings that are lateral mid body back to tail . The same marking from mid to back could be a indicator of a Azul/ Tem as well.
