Bass of Puerto Rico

I think Puerto Rico was stocked in 1976, no bass before then.
 
Was that the first and only stocking or is it still done at intervals?...I doubt if cichla are found naturally on any of the Caribbean islands..

I actually might be relocating to the island in the future and I wouldn't mind catching a few PR cichla for my tank or maybe a pond.
 
Nice,where exactly were the cichla caught at...name of town and lake or river?
