I am getting a 220 tomorrow and i want to start a native tank would like to put a large mouth bass in there so how aggressive are they and would they go good with a channel cat (I do have a pond when they get to big)

I would suggest putting in all your other fish first. The last one that I had turned hyper aggressive and almost destroyed my dovii that was much bigger. Kinda looked like one of those videos you see with piranhas attacking. Took the bass out put the dovii in for a day. Then put the bass back in and everything was fine.

Catfish should be fine but if you plan on adding sunfish, crappie, bluegill and the bass is already established you may have a problem.

Yes they can. I have never had any issues with water temp(about 74-76) or pH keeping them together. I usually catch my own and where I catch them the water quality is not that great. Also the water is fairly shallow so the temp is pretty high there anyway.

Yea I would. P bass are considered cichlids and native bass not but I think it's because of the difference in region. There almost identical in anatomy. So close that's why there called peacock bass. The bass family is like pretty much a branch off from cichlid family.

I'm no expert but its a little different. Largemouth bass are actually sunfish and peacock bass are cichlids. They may look similar but they are not super closely related by any means. Doesn't mean you can't keep them together though.
