600 correct. the last pict of the first series was my kelbs; four bar, 4 bahias two pairs, some orinos and another broko. their all in a 300 gallon.

And Brokos.......absolutely. They are my favorite. I have three and a solid male female pair. The red eyes on those buggers are awesome. He looks like pbass demon spawn.

Only two issues, they are sensitive for sure, I have lost 4 of them due to odd illnesses. and tough to get. I would definately buy more. I should have bought all of rapps when he had them.

one last thing, i suspect the Motoro is pregnant. -pups soon fingers crossed.

Next time Jeff has them I am all over them. They are the real ocellaris, the species by which the entire family Cichlidae was based on. I should have got a load of them when I could.

I can tell you that like all small Cichla, or any Cichla newly imported, they HATE to be chilled. I always raise my wild collected Cichla in 88-90F water with super aeration and current. Heat is their friend. You know that I am sure, but never hurts to reiterate.

You have an inspiring collection :)

Thank you. Jeff gets amazing stock in. I am telling you, next time he gets Brokos I am going all out like never before. I sat back and kept my wallet closed last two times. Not a third.

Thanks, yeah if I saw it I got it, with the exception of a xingu. I was offered one but the asking price was a joke.
