Will a large mouth or spotted bass live with a JD and a Jag. Right now I have the JD and Jag in a 55 gallon but will eventually change to a larger taank later on down the road. I was thinking on keeping one that is about 6" if possible. Thanks.

I dont think you'll be able to get the water to make each fish happy. My guess is that one or the other will be stressed. I've never tried, but I'm just guessing because the bass will probably prefer cooler water.

Looks good but maybe just a tad over stocked.

im not sure if the tank will be big enough but the bass will do fine with the water temp. largemouth like warm water, just make sure its a lg. mouth cause sm mouth dont like warm water at all they like it nice and cold

rule of thumb with cichlids (and sunfish) either give them their own territory or over crowd them. nothing in between. if they have their own territory then their happy, if their over crowded and dont have their own territory, they spend mor time just swimming around and "fighting" wich also makes them happy. idk why but they dont stress verymuch if at all when over crowded (say 5 oscars in an 80 gal) then they do when barely crowded (say 3 oscars in an 80 gal.) its always the oddman out in smaller groups, but with more fish, they just leave each other alone, mst of the time.

should be fine as long as ones not big enough to eat the other one..lm bass can withstand rather warm temps (65-70 ish)

Bass prosper in FL with warmer temps than that. Mine lives with an oscar at about 74 deg F.

A lm will be ok in 80 degree water for short periods, especially small ones. The preffered temp range is somewhere between 60-75, but they are much more active at the higher end. They can handle water in the high 30s over the winter and up into the low 90s in the summer.
