You guys can move this afterward I just didnt know where to ask it. I just got some Large mouth bass and they had been kept in cool water. I have some pbass in a grow out tank and they are the same size. Is there any way I can get them in the same tank? It would be cool to have a complete "bass" tank.

i have pbass and largemouth in the same tank.. they do just fine. largemouth bass can stay in warm and cool water. just make sure they are in a big enough tank where they wont always be fighting and nippin at each other. the ones i have now are 3-4 inches in a 55g.

I thought pbass had to be kept at pretty high temps like 80s or something....I would not put a bass in anything higher than 75 for any period of time.

Why? Bass live where it is warm. I think there are largemouths in Mexico and it isn't cold there.

they deffinatly live in florida and the water is 85 in summer. I would say keep the water at 78 or 80 and both will be happy.

They can live in warm water but mexico even has winters and they get a cold period too.

My bass is in good shape at 78 deg F.

Hmmm....I always thought that bass needed cooler temps. My bad I guess I was wrong as Ewurm has living proof.
