thx everybody..hillbilly i dont have a check valve on the left corner..i got one towards the sump..and yeah thats a iwaki pump..but its a bit loud..

That's good. As long as you have one somewhere on the return line, everything's cool. You could try placing a piece of foam under the pump. I've done this before, and it really cut down the vibration noise.

Chris- I have grown orinos and monos out and in my opinion it is completely how you feed them and how much they are willing to eat. Right now I have a 7 inch mono in a tank with an 11 inch orino and I bought the mono at 4 inches after I bought the orino at 3 inches. The orino just loves the one pellet that I feed while the mono likes the FD and the other pellet.
Mike- Those bass are looking great man. It makes me wish I was livin in Cali when I hear you can buy those things as adults lol. Youre lucky to find them at 3 inches around here lol.

thx cpr_mike..yea theres a pet store that sells orinos 7-10 inches for 100 bucks..i find some on craigslist time to time..thats where i found my recent two orinos..
