Bat Ray

Seriously it would be an injustice ( I think) to have a Batray in my size pool for very long even if it's a 12" pup even though I sure would like one.

zoo is this the same species of ray that you are talking about? I seen that fresh marine currently has these available and was interested in one but wasn't sure if it was the species that can get like a 5ft wing span.

Yeah, that's the one - but man is that info wrong. Batrays do get pretty big. Even a young one will need a 6-8' round pool, adults will need more like 25' or more.

Bat rays are cool but they get to large.....then again this IS MONSTER FISH KEEPERS!

i can catch you as many batrays as you want for free if you come to california, its all I fish for, I can get you them from 1lb to 150lbs =D, How big is your tank to house these guys because they get HUGE

He says California, so they range all up and down the coast of California and yes they can live in 60 degree temps

Is that the name of the lfs? I guess not. Thought it would be since I was there and they had a bat ray, and they were in a chicago suburb.
