From when a gg is young its colours will change alot, I would stick by just a normal common, iv sold and kept alot of young and old gg and they can change body colour in minutes, from dark to light also as they get bigger they markins get less

Yeah i know they get light specialy when scared and stress. But orange? In here gg are in rivers and food fish. I didn't saw such a juvenile...
If u can plz post a pic of ur color changed gg, so i can identify my gg...
 
Dont get me wrong i would never say im 100% right about it and if it turns out to be a cross or a new colour form then great, if you have alook at these two pics, the first one is a rtgg at about inch second pic is it at about 10" and uts colour changes day to day

Ok now just check ur pics does he got any big changes except color gaining?
 
I have seen one not in person though.
It had black dots along its side.
But nothing like this one.

Iv seen yellow gg or gold more so than yellow and it had that black speckling on the fins but not as black like that one nice fish Id have it!
