One of my female motoros had two batches of them. The batman defect was much less severe but, I still did not like it. It is a birth defect that seems to have an effect on their long term health. None of them lived past the age of 1.

i cant stand them

i still think their is a deformaty that happens then they are cut to make them look even more like a bat IMO

I would little disagreed for the thing that Batman cannot live longer than 1 year. I have seen in China . She is now 3 years old and get pregnant. If i got a chance i would ask the owner to get some picture for u guys .

Can we cut ray to make it like Batman ? I never heard that before. I think if we cut them that much . In my point of view they will die .

I do not believe the rays are cut to create batman rays... only a theory, but I think it might be from being kept at too low a temperature during gestation...if that is the case, the body segments that normally join at the front of the ray might grow more slowly [since rays are poikilotherms] and would fail to fuse by the end of the gestational period. It would be interesting to hear what the water temp was whenever these rays are born. In some parts of the world marine stingrays are mutilated and then dried and sold to tourists as "sea monsters" check out this website http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jenny_Haniver

I seriously doubt they cut the rays T1, but thanks for coming out...:screwy:

Baby rays are susceptible to a lot. I would think cutting them in half would stress them out and they would die..period

I would buy one for sure, but not a chance for $5000.
