Batman Rayz

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
they show up in the states from time to time.... not very sought after but some people have had them bred...

batmans are cool, but i think it's a shame that people charge more for them. they should be cheaper to avoid the promotion of cutting or selective breeding, if thats even possible, to produce them.

yes, these are very expensive in Thailand - i saw advertisement ... much MUCH more expensive than premium Asian Aro

People over here tend to not want known genetically imperfect animals.

Hmmm, would you consider shortbodied aro or king aro to be genetically imperfect animal?

These command quite high price, though i am not fond of either ... the natural aro look is nicer imo ...still, these types seemed to be sought after over here

PS: pardon my ignorance - is albino or melanistic(?) genetic imperfection?

In the wild yes albino and mel. are genetic imperfections, very rarely do any albino or mel animals live in the wild for a long time. In the pet trade how ever albino or mel is a sought after mutation. Hope this kind of answers your question.

I just love them. Regardless of it being a genetic mistake or not. I do not promote any animal cruelty. The people who cut rays should be cut themselves in my opinion. I want on because I am in love with their little faces. I feel bad for them in a way and It makes me want to take care of one.
