Does anyone have any suggestions on battery powered air pumps. I've looked up a few, but none seem to have very good reviews. They would be for use during power outages.

They are only good for transportation, in buckets or small containers, imho.

I have two BPAPs that I would place in my tank when the power went off. They worked. We have a generator now, so don't need/use the BPAPs.

I have the AZOO battery operated pumps for use in transporting large fish, they do the job for a few hour car ride, but are very noisy.
If they vibrate, place thick rags underneath. I had mine vibrate on glass that I had to put rags under. It was annoying.

This is good for transportation and power outages, its electric and battery. I have some on every tank. If the electric goes, the battery automatically kicks in.

Works fine. Lots of power. Can power multiple sponge filters. Automatically switches between line and battery power if the power goes off and on. My only issue was it was a bit louder than I would prefer. So I ended up putting it in a padded box to muffle the sound. Other than that it works great.

Thats good to hear that that works well, has anyone else had experience with this. I saw that in my travels but had pretty bad reviews. Have either or you had problems with yours? or have they worked pretty solid?
