Bay Area Arowana keepers...

I first stopped at CD aquarium, got there right at 10:30. I was so stoked he had an Asian Aro, Dats and flowerhorns painted right on the front windows...But to my suprise CLOSED till 1PM I'm like WTF!!??

So I'm standing there with my jaw dropped and up walked this guy looking to get in the store too...He's all bummed too cause the hours.
Come to find out he just came from Bay Aquarium. He told me how to get there, and said he just saw a bunch of 7-8" Silvers and a 12" Jardini...


I'm like COOL!! So I jet down Capitol Exp to Aborn, hook the left and down a few blocks I see Bay Aquarium, pull in and right in the first tank I see through the door is a 1/2 dozen Silvers...

I went in and looked, saw a nice TSN, a couple of Bichirs, A mess of flowerhorns and then I seen the Jardini..

He was all of 12" but his lip was banged up and his barbels were nubs...PASS, not what I wanted...

Anyway I talked to Mike, said he was the owner...I asked him where he kept the "GOOD" arowanas... Well he said not here...

I told him to bag me up 1/2 the silvers in the front tank and he did and he cut me a rightous deal with no tax...

We exchanged our personal info, I liked the guy and I'll do business with him anytime he has got what I want...

wow wow wow....congradulations i am soooooo happy for you...i am glad i did not miss seeing them before i go to bed... i want to hear all about them.....great great pickup
