Aro's are lookin sweet zennz. I love the pack of 3. Makes the tank look real good. The black bottom is pretty sweet as well. Is this the 120 your cats are in? And how big were the aro's when you got them?
yup...black shows all the crap really good...alot of work to keep it looking pristine...Water is still good 0/0/40, smells earthy...

Oh yeah, so far so good...
They have established pecking order, if there is such a thing in Arowana comm.

I notice the biggest and best featured one is the Alpha.
Then the other two are still wrangling at times for 2nd position...

The one with the PLJ is the most skittish.
Thats the one who will get out if I ever leave the top unsecured...
Heaven Forbid...

They are all active, and stay pretty much on the surface.

Everybodys eyes are looking good still, The longer the better, but I'm sure of these three I'll have a few that drop....

I have a vid I need to edit, I got 2 of the 3 eating Prawn out of my hand...
I'll get it posted soon...:headbang2

Hand feeding, as promised...
Less than one month in tank, seen 2" growth...

Cool vid. How long did it take you to train them to hand feed?
As long as it takes to try it...I think if the Aros are going to do it, they will.

I've only had these Aros for a month, they got used to me feeding them in a couple of days...

They really eat everything I give them, which is good for hand feeding....

The main thing about hand feeding is not to jerk your hand when they hit it.
If you notice in the vid, my hand is relaxed when they take the prawn. The movment you see is the force that they hit the prawn. It startles you at first because they put their teeth all over your fingers. Aros seem to overbite their prey...;);)
