New York,The place that lacks good herping
COSTA RICA!!! Im so excited :p I plan to do some fishing, speak some spanish, eat some good food and most importantly go herping! Any ideas of common and cool stuff there? I know about fer de lance and many eyelash vipers, also numerous iguanas, but without a snake hook I doubt I could catch any of those (iguana not included). I just wanna catch something :p If I can find a camera to bring I will take many pictures!

I'm gonna try to get dad to get us a vacation in Belize this summer, fingers crossed! If we go, you can be sure I'll take plenty of pics.:D
 
I heard belize was nice. My old teacher went there for her honeymoon, or maybe im thinking of aruba.. hmmm. Isnt belize prime red tail boa country?

I spent a few months in Costa Rica. Where are you headed? I did some volunteer work with the Giant Leatherback sea turtle over on the carribean side. I hiked through about 10 miles of jungle alone to get to the site too..LOTS of snakes. The turtles might have been the coolest thing I've ever touched when they're giving birth. OMG! I hope you have a lot of time. Almost all costa ricans you meet will speak english too.
