Just finished my first day at costa rica... Found tons of basilisks (didnt catch any.. so fast) Tons of iguanas, rocks and greens, Saw some cool crocodiles.. no snakes :/. The house im staying at is apparently overrun with basilisks... when we first got there the guy said oh look a jesus christ lizard... and then I jumped into action.. Pics soon!
! Let's hope the sharks aren't hungry 
Also anyone have any tips on catching these fast lizards such as iguanas and basilisks? I might try using a towel as a net

Use the stump as cover. Come from the side opposite from the side it's on. Then dart your hand around and make a wild grab, and hope you get it. Good luck, you'll certainly need it..
Yeah the basilisks tend to be just chilling on the ground :/ also I was wrong they are not rock iguanas(I think.. I just kind of guessed) Here are some pictures

10 in the morning here now. Under every rock on our property is a little crab! Also found a gecko in our house! It reminds me of a day gecko.. Unfortunately it escaped my cluthes before I could take a picture. The thing dropped its tail :/ I feel bad but it dropped it before I caught it.
Went there ziplinig above the jungle so high up!!! Was so scary (I was 7) but after a few it was really really fun. I only. Didn't get any herps tho cuz I didn't kno I wasn't on mfk back then. I fed a wild toucan ! And went in the hot springs. I wouldn't live there tho. Prob cuz I only saw the jungly part and not the real homes in the arwa
Try going after the lizards in the early morning before they have a chance to warm up, they should be much slower than.
