In further correspondence, I have made it clear I have no intentions of building it around an old car, a phone booth, or gutted piano and they keep replying back, so maybe they have gotten feedback people want something more realistic

absolutely no idea. I have only been corresponding for a few days and that part hasn't even come up yet. I don't think you get it for free, but I would expect some sort of compensation, but I really have no idea.

I agree, and I doubt I will get picked. I through something out there to see what would happen and they got back to me. Right now, that is all I know.

That would be sweet man, and good for the hobby! I bet if it does happen you won't be able to show pics until its on TV, so we will have to be patient! Cool idea for a tank also! Very similar to what I would want. Though the utility cost would probably cause my wife to throw me out of the house

Ya i started emailing them about a tank for me. I am curious to see what happens for you or me. i cant imagine they have that big of a draw of people who can actually sit down and say yes i want a xxxxx gallon tank and have a spot for it. Especially if they are hoping to have any real cool "do able" ideas for tanks.

I checked the application out, you need to post pictures of the spot where it would be placed, IE looking for a big clean, luxurious home etc. I doubt they will build a tank in some ones basement, just isn't good for TV
