BeamsWork LED lights?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Nice lights! I have 2 48" for my 300. I'm very I'm pressed and the price too! Wonder how they last, perfect for fish only tanks. That model that is, I've also heard good things about their reef LEDs too. Beamsworks is a lights company, look em up. Not sure if they are the same, but looks like it

I recently bought the 36" (129 LED) for my 58 show (black background). Pretty decent output, definitely better than the pinkish hued 36" fluorescent unit ("free" unit with 24" single bulb in a 36" fixture that came with my 125) that it replaced. It's not going to grow plants or sear the eyeballs out of my fish, it's just a good standard light for the money, IMO. I plan on buying more of these units in the future.

I'm going to try one of the 48" freshwater units. If it works out okay I will order a 36" for full coverage on my tank. If it does not work out for my 210g, I think it will be adequate for my 110g. I will post a few comparison pics when the light arrives.

dont now how to post links but LED Wholesalers.com has an all whiteled aquarium and grow light panel with 225 leds 12x12 inch scure 13.8 watts and they also have them in blue leds or mix culd some body post the link for all to see

imo just like their other lights, its bang for the buck! 48" led 174 led 60.00..... cant beat that. im just curious of its life span....good i hope being led...

Well shoot, I was all set to buy a roll of LEDs from ebay and make my own light because LED fixtures have been so pricey. These kinda ruin that plan >.<
