BeamsWork LED lights?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Looks good!

I'm not sure how much brighter you could get than that! I have a single 48" Beamswork LED on my 135gal (72x18x24) and think it's perfect. I do like dimmer lighting though...

I see a major difference between the pics...but it might just be me lol. I got my new 48" in 2 days ago for my 75 gallon that i'm setting up and the others are on my 220 and I love them. The 48" one on the 75 makes it very bright however I like them a little darker myself. I would recommend them to anyone looking for LED lights.

My dad just received his 2 for his 125. Both adapters were broken unfortunately.

It appears REALLY bright in the pictures. It's not. Not even close. A 4' shop light was at least twice as bright, but it didn't offer the same coverage for the tank, and was a fire hazard (I couldn't hang the lights, they just sat on top). The light in the "before" picture is a 36" it wasn't very bright either. The lights aren't high output, and they're old old bulbs to boot. It's not a bad product at all, I just thought it would be a tad brighter, and more "soft" than it actually is. That's ok though, I'm fine with it. It's growing on me already. It almost looks like typical marine lighting to me.

THese LED lights are great, I have two 36 inch on my 265 cichlid tank and it looks beautiful,, definitely the best lights for the price.

Here's a quick pic of mine with the Beamworks reefbright. A 48" and 24" on a 6'X24" deep tank

I used one on my 90 a while back then just put some dual t5's on around Xmas. If i get some time I will take some pics with the 48" beamswork and the 36" coralife double ho. But I did think the Beamsworkz one was dull in the tank. This could have been because it has a black background and the rays in it are black combined with the blank sand at the time.
