Beamworks, Current USA Satellite, or Finnex LEDs

I just looked the Kessil up. That looks like an awesome light, but it's pretty pricey. However, it's definitely something I might be interested in for a bigger tank to get more bang for my buck.
I have the 48-60" sat+ on three 125g tanks and I really like them, but I really doubt they would be enough light for a planted tank. I like how it lights up the center of the tank well, but leaves the edges a bit darker. It allows the fish a break from the light.
I have not tried the other brands you mentioned, but did try the marineland led lights for a short time. They were returned almost immediately because I felt they washed out the fish and tank. You could not control the color at all. I want a "realistic" daytime look, but at the same time I like the flexibility of the sat+ to include tints of specific colors.

Did you use Marineland Double bright or Triple bright? I have double brights on a 30" deep fish only tank and would like a little more in the red spectrum but otherwise as far a a nice shimmer and good light at a lower operational cost I lke them. IMO 3x brights put out enough light for a 24" planted tank.
I've been hearing great reviews on the Current LED Plus line. I will be assessing my electric bill the next few months to see how much my newly added Dual T5 fixtures impact.
I like how one remote on the Current LED Plus will control others, assuming you have more than one.
The different presets seem to be very intriguing. I wonder if someone can post pictures of the different presets?
I'll try it post some up in the next few days. Def not enough for planted other than low light, but I keep cichlids (plants in 1 of 12 tanks) I like the customization and efficiency a lot.

Another one to consider.. Aquaticlife Edge LED. 3 timers, 1 for moonlights, 1 for RGB, 1 for whites. And it has a built in ramp timer for up to 2 hour sunrise sunset. It a little more money but a real nice light. I just put the 48" on a 6ftx2ftx2ft and I am real happy with it. Only thing I don't like is no battery backup for the clock/timers.
I have a 48" finnex fugeray planted plus on my 180 gal 6' x 2' x 2' and it does a good job of lighting up the tank. As for if it's bright enough for med to high light plants I don't have any in the tank so I've no way to tell. For a bare bones light at minimal cost it gets the job done. But if you want timers, dimmers, programmable sunrise sunset it's best to look elsewhere. I'm happy with what I got, but if I was to do it again I'd get something with a bit more program-ability.
