Hey Folks,
was just sitting in front of my tanks watching my two beani, (while stupidly feeding my smaller beani again... right after a feeding, oops). I decided to snap some pics with my cell phone(BlackBerry Storm, digital camera was not available).
Anyways, just wanted to share. The bigger one is about 5.5-6", and the smaller one is around 2". Unfortunately couldnt get a good pic of the small guy, he moves too much. Im very pleased though, the colours he is developing are even better/blue/green than the bigger one. Woot.
Now the little guy: (yes I know hes bloated, I fed too much oops. I did it again without realizing)
And I just happened to get a reasonable shot of one of his tank-mates:
I originally kept both with silver dollars... but the smaller one killed the (2) similarly sized dollars that were with him (but although chasing a lot, has inflicted no damage on the clown loaches). My big guy chases the dollars (4) with him occasionally, but he is now much bigger than them and they are totally fine.
Tank Specs:
Big Beani (5.5-6")
75g, Sponge Filter, AC150, AC300, Eheim Pro 2026
(also has 4x 4" silver dollars)
Small Beani (2")
15g, Sponge Filter, AC150.
(also has 2x 3" Clown loaches)
Both get waterchanges and filter cleaning every 5-7 days.
Thanks for looking, Cheers!
Chris
