  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I beleive it wud be fine for young and maybe adults idk though :p

Hell, a 40g Breeder would be cheaper ESPECIALLY since Petcos still doing the $1 per Gallon thing for a 3rd time this year.

1. You will need a heat lamp so a basking spot can reach 100-120F depending on how old.
2. You will need an appropriate UVB/A bulb.
3. If its a baby or under 12 inches it need either paper towels, butcher paper, titles, reptile carpet as substrate.
4. If its over 12 inches you can use sand.
5. They eat lost of crickets especially babies, talking 30+ a day.

omg! 30 crickets a day?!?!!?? holy crap! thats awsome. but exspensive. well i got a 40 breeder and i got my leos in it but i think i have another tank for them. how about as far as handling and stuff for the cage? also would they eat mealworms or not? cuz im starting to breed them and if they will eat them ill just start the breeding process with 1,000...

For the cage I have flat rocks, thick wood branches. Mine loves to climb on the branches. They grow really fast. had mine a month and its already grown like 3 inches at least. They poop a lot so daily spot cleaning needs to be done.

As for handling mine doesn't mine being held, shes very calm. Just scoop 'em under they belly. How old a one are you gonna get?

30+ a day? where did ya hear that?

idk i would like to get it small but its alot more work. then again i think it would be worth mit so probably from a petstore as a baby or from a responsible breeder. well i have a separate 55 gallon and i can take my leos out of that and but the beardie in the 40 gallon because its wider. but if i get a big rock for a basking spot will it get to hot and burn him?
