Yeah its fine. I haven't seen many 36" bulbs though. You can get a light fixture from cheaper, a couple 18" ones are $10 each.

yea but i need it to cover the whole cage so i would need 2?

why not go with a mercury vapor bulb? heat and UV in one. can't be used on anything less than a 40breeder though.

I agree on the MVB. I have one...and it provides the heat and UVB. And you only have to worry about one bulb.
