dosn't matter. if the bigger one keeps a faster growth rate it will steal food and then one day just decide to get rid of its competition (little beardie). Having them in a small tank is just going to make that worse. separate them.

Even if you don't see the bigger one crawling around on the smaller one when you watch them - that doesn't mean it isn't happening. Like it or not bearded dragons are territorial, and the only time they should be housed together is if you have a huge enclosure where they can set up their own territories - or if you're breeding them.
