The person that said to you to feed him tomatoes and letuce obviously doesant know what he´s talking about Never, ever trust a pet shop owner. Both of thouse veggis are very poor food items, low in calcium, high in phosporus , oxalates and nitrates.No good stuff. You are risking your lizard to cach metabolic bonne desiase because of that. Your lizard is no dumster he needs quality and variety food items if he´s expected to live a long healty life. Fries is a no food for it what so ever. Good food items include dark leafy vegetables like turnip greens, water cress, mustard greens, chicory greens, collard greens,etc, along side gutloaded mealworms, crickets, grasshoppers and litle waxworms. Thouse are the insects you need to get and give to him. The fact that they "eat any insect" doesant mean they are good for him Also have you already go the normal basking ligths, uv ligth, cage ,etc?
