Hey whats up all, Im looking for a Monster that will be comfy for life in a 72 bowfront. I want something that get big. 10" or up preferrably. What ya got for me? :headbang2

what fish do you have in the tank

yes i would gulpers would eat all the fish except the ones bigger then it

so if you wan't fish to get along with your cichlids you could try alot of things
nandus nandus (depending on the aggression of the cichlids)
jackdempsy cichlids are nice
pike cichlid awsome fish they eat a ton
bichir of some kind if you don't wan't aggressive fish

but if you do wan't aggressive fish then

green terror
aggressive species of pike cichlid
red devil
mabye a rainbow wolf fish some can be kept with larger fish just fine but others can be very aggressive

whoops forgot which thread i was in for catfish try
pimelodus species like
blochi
ornatus
maculatus
lima sholenose get a little big but if you had a bigger tank get one
giant bumblebee catfish are cool

lol dude... i know a LOT about cichlids. Thats not what im asking about ;)

Thanks for the catfish suggestions, I will look into that. I already have a lima and hes nice but he is too shy for me.

Edit: Ooh, I like the giant bumblebee. How fast do they grow, and are they rare?

Would one eat my cichlids? Convicts are the smallest

Just about ANY catfish 10" and up will gladly eat your Convicts............ and most other normal size cichlids.

Try a nice big P. Niger. He wont bother any of your fish.

My p.niger ate two of my oscars. If you buy a catfish there is always a good chance it will eat your fish.

i'd say bumblebee, or P. Blochii..

blochii get around 11-12 inches, very active and eat a ton, which might include some small cichlids.

synodontis get fairly large also..
