I would say switch to kosher/water softener/aquarium salt. The epsom salt is going to make your aro continuous clear it's stomach which is not what you want right now.

Arowana have amazing healing abilities and are true fighters when it comes to surviving injuries.

It's 50/50 whether the tail comes back, and I would recommend switching to the proper salt asap, diarrhea is the last thing he needs now.

Wow I never seen fish got beaten up that bad and I admire what u did,
As long as its eating fine and have good quality parameter it will survive no problem and the wounds should heal. Within a week or 2 and the tail I'm not sure going to grow back

After 9 days the poor little guy lost his battle for health.
