from the pictures i've seen it looks to be female. plus i think you can see the breeding tube poking out.

Yep, lack of speckles, rounded fins, and broken up stripe are all signs of a female. It's the blue-est female I've ever seen though!
that is absolutely a female. I got a breeding pair that pumps out fry whenever I decide to do a massive water change. Great fish!!!!
