Del,

Sorry to hear that, pal... But I know exactly what you feel. I used to have a brackish tank when in my mother's house, and she thought of it as a piece of the furniture, pushing it around the living room. I ended up giving all my archerfishes before they died. Keep your head up, bro. It's only temporary.

Best regards.

Daniel.

What happened did you guys get in a fight or something? did you get arrested or are you going away to college? You have some great fish and I wish you luck, It really does sound like a crappy situation,(giving away your fish) Well dont worry I have never been able to keep the big fish you had for one reason or another, but I know that someday I will, so just remember that you can start/start over again someday bigger than before, good luck with everything.

Instead of everyone offering to take his fish, why doesn't someone offer to help him get a larger wet dry or larger filter? Then maybe he can keep his fish.I would get him a larger wetdry, but I am in NY.

Read the entire thread. It isn't filtration... it is that he has chosen to give them up because of personal choices. He may get set back now, but someday will come back much stronger.
