Before After AROS

Hey i have been watching through some photos and since i got some new photos from home (courtesy of my super GF). I recon i can do before and after aro shots. Quite fun to see them like that.

Gonna start with black aro which i got from RockyGoldy (Kaiju Arowana our resident vendor from Singapore - so yes he came by plane). It was a puny tadpole and in colors of black aro that we love but unfortunately does not keep.

He is still in the same set-up 6'x2' with motoro and L114. i recon the aquarium is filling up nicely now cos it really used to look empty

These are one month comparisons.

Nice tank. I've never seen a filter set up lake that before.

This little cute guy came at the same time as the black aro. I got them in JUNE after having a devastating loss of the entire new comer aquarium. but they are all magnificent

HBRTG came as a small big eyed tadpole as well

one year later HBRTG with even better finnage and RED eyes quite strong fish and stands it ground. i stupidly rolled the dice and put him in with silvers. luckily they were not interested in eating him so now HBRTG is bossing around the large Xback hehehe

not sure how the balance of power now - since BBXB was mixed in

Thanks this is the tank with removable/movable filter. the primary filter (in the middle) is glass tower with bioballs inside. the reason i moved it forward is that i was concerned that puny tadpole will have too strong current so i put in separator and filter on the other side. the other side is empty lol

This is XB one year ago in June (but i got him in Dec 09 actually). He is cool now ^^
