For a long time he was the biggest cichla in his growout tank, so he wasn't getting picked on whatsoever so I think this really helped him develop nicely even though he started out looking drab. Its funny though since hes in my big cichla tank now with the other kelberis and orino and he gets picked on, and I think his development took a stall.
